As I write this I am FINALLY getting over some crazy stomach virus from last week. Not really sure what happened but two days after the caving trip I got it bad while at work. I toughed it out the rest of the night and have been inactive ever since. I'm just now staring to feel "normal" again, enough to try a dungeon day at Howie's tomorrow.
The caving trip...one of the hardest things I've ever done. I wanted a mental and physical test and I got it. 9+ hrs, 5+ miles, 50 deg water throughout and a physical beatdown. That could explain the weak immune system and illness. Hopefully I will get my hands on some pictures soon. I might have one more cave in me yet. I'd still like to take on Waynes sometime.
So, sick or not, it's back to the dungeon tomorrow. I'm going to tackle the Siberian Express on Saturday in Danville and need to get moving again. My initial plan is to attempt to loops on the course which would put me at about 15ish miles. We'll see how I feel though. I know time on my feet and miles have to start piling up though and the train hard, recover harder mentality will have to take hold. Good thing I have a new bed on its way this weekend. Hopefully my back issues will soon be a thing of the past.
