Yeah, I tried to get a trail run in today at the Farm. I got to the creek before I decided I was completely wasting my time. The snow was just too damn deep to "run". I even flirted with the idea of hiking it, but by then the snow was in my shoes and my feet weren't likin' it. I trudged back to the parking lot and went home. I tend to look at the bright side.......I got some fresh air on the trails, albeit brief.
Unfortunately I followed it up tonight with some Old Chicago pizza. BAD! I was real happy with my weight earlier this week too. I guess I got cocky. Lesson learned.
The thaw is supposed to start soon. Time to turn it up!
